| Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Friends, As the President of the Korean Society of Diagnostic Immunology (KSDI), I would like to invite you to our 2021 Annual Scientific Conference on behalf of the organizing committee members. The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic have ironically given us an opportunity to extend our reach globally, and this will be the second year that KSDI will be holding its annual conference in a virtual platform since its founding in 2013. |

All the organizing committee members and I are excited to welcome our local and international colleagues from the academic and industrial fields of diagnostic immunology to this year’s conference. We believe that, with your participation and collaboration, we will be able to enhance our ability to collectively fight against new emerging infectious diseases. Under the theme of "Infectious Immunity: the Old and New", an educational workshop for the evaluation of immunoassays, recent updates for COVID-19 and tuberculosis, and a special lecture titled "Use of Big Data in Diagnostic Immunology" will be presented, which will provide you with helpful insights into the ongoing fight against infectious microorganisms. Moreover, there will be ample opportunity to present your research in both oral and poster forms. We are certain that you will benefit from the presentations of leaders in our field and look forward to seeing you at the 2021 Annual Scientific Conference of Korean Society of Diagnostic Immunology (KSDI) in May.
